Emmaus House is a nonprofit that exists to transition orphaned youth into independent living in Haiti. Emmaus House uses a holistic approach to heal, equip, and, empower young adults in Cap-Haitien. We believe youth are the future of Haiti, and work to show orphaned youth how to contribute meaningfully to their Haitian communities. Statement of faith

Job summary
Emmaus House is looking for a part-time Administrative Coordinator to join what will be a four-person stateside team. This job can be done remotely. The Coordinator is the core support role for all events and activities at Emmaus House. They are a public-facing professional who is invested in the nonprofit community and who has strong communication skills, work ethic, and a can-do attitude.
The Coordinator supports and reports to the Executive Director of Emmaus House, who will conduct an annual performance review. Specific tasks will vary greatly throughout the year and as special projects evolve or develop.

Qualifications and skills
Required

Ability to work most hours between 9am EST and 3pm EST with ability to work outside those hours for special projects, events, meetings, etc.

Salary and benefits
This is an hourly position with a 25 hours/week commitment starting January 01, 2024. Salary will be based on education and experience.
