Lisa Vaughn
Secretary
Lisa Vaughn lives her husband and two children in Fairfax, Virginia. Lisa received her Master of Public Administration degree from the University of North Texas in 2008 with a specialty in Nonprofit Administration, and has a degree in Social Work from Abilene Christian University.
Joshua jackson
Board Member
Joshua Jackson is the Preaching Minister at the Rural Hill Church of Christ in Antioch, TN. He’s a graduate of Abilene Christian University and Emory’s Candler School of Theology. He and his wife Tina have ministered in Texas, Georgia, Florida, and now Tennessee. Joshua enjoys reading and traveling.
Caroline combs
Board Member
Caroline lives in Nashville, Tennessee and is an educator in Metro Nashville Public Schools. She received her teaching degree from Lipscomb University, with certifications in English language learners and (coming Dec. 2020) Special Education. She has a background in trauma educating, desiring to bring her passions to the board at Emmaus House.
Anna torbett
Vice President
Anna currently lives in Smyrna, GA where she works as a Learning Designer for Chick-fil-A, Inc.. After her first trip to Cap Haitien in 2015, she has become more involved with Emmaus House and their mission, including leading multiple team-building seminars for the Haitian staff.
Nicole dabkowski
Treasurer
Nicole in an Army spouse of over 22 years. Her nine Army moves have led to multiple opportunities to meet new people and try new things. She is currently living at the United States Military Academy at West Point where she works for Thayer Leadership. She is a mom of 5 and enjoys beaches and sunshine in her free time.
Carly johnson
Board Member
Carly Johnson lives in Moore, OK, with her husband Daniel and their son Woodley, who was adopted from Haiti. Carly first fell in love with Haiti through the stories of her cousin Avery Anderson on her first mission trip to Cap-Haitien in 2012. Carly first traveled to Haiti back in 2014 and has traveled back to visit numerous times since getting to know many of the Emmaus House youth.
