Tanya Can't Wait to See Ya'll!
I am headed down the road this week for yet another fundraising trip for Emmaus House. I don’t really look at it as “fundraising,” so maybe we should call it a “visiting” trip? I look at it as a chance to sit down and visit with the people that are making it all happen. I’ll get to sit down with church leaders, sponsors, donors, as well as people who don’t know much about us yet. Can I just say that I absolutely love this part of my job! Our donors are so much more than donors, they have become dear friends and partners. Partners I look to for input and advice regarding our program as well as friends I look to for encouragement to keep the work going. I am passionate about our youth at Emmaus House and I thoroughly enjoy nothing more than sharing their progress with the ones who are making it all possible.
This trip I’m making stops in Wyoming, Oklahoma City, Dallas/Ft. Worth, and Northwest Arkansas.
Wyoming: May 3
Oklahoma City: May 5-7
Dallas/Fort Worth: May 8-10
Fayetteville, AR: May 11-14
