Administration Building
At Emmaus House, we want to plant seeds of joy in the lives of those we serve and provide them with quality programs and spaces that will allow their joy to grow and flourish. One specific way we want to do this is by completing the final building on our campus. The Administration Building has been on our minds and in our hearts for years. As we continue to grow, the need for designated office spaces and confidential meeting areas is necessary now more than ever.

At Emmaus House, every available space is currently at full capacity. Staff must create rotating schedules to determine who can use which rooms and when.
-
The staff meeting area is simply an extra room inside one of the residential homes.
-
Administrative work is conducted in shared spaces.
-
Counseling services are not fully private.
-
Youth receiving therapy do not have dedicated, confidential rooms.
This overcrowding creates several challenges:
-
Limited privacy for youth receiving counseling.
-
Scheduling conflicts for staff.
-
Disruptions in residential homes due to meetings and office activity.
-
Reduced availability of therapy spaces.
-
Increased stress for both staff and residents.
Room to Heal and Grow
Because of these space limitations, the quality and consistency of care is impacted.
To solve this problem, Emmaus House needs a dedicated administrative building.
This would:

Protect confidentiality. Support healing.

Create space to welcome more youth.

Strengthen the team that supports them every day.

“Having a work environment that is organized, secure, and where we can be productive will give the staff joy,”
“Having a place where our youth can focus on their mental health will give them joy. This building will give all of us security and healing and it will be the center of our intelligence.”
